I like to read magazines of dentistry !!

I like to read magazines of dentistry  because you need to be reading articles about different clinical cases that occur in patients. On the other hand it is important to read these articles because it helps me in my profession and also learn new vocabulary in English.

Why it is important to read ?

    Al leer ejercitas la mente...
  1. When reading large knowledge.
  2. Read widen your vocubulario.
  3. Reading increases your imagination.
  4. Read improve your spelling.
  5. When you exercise the mind reading.
  6. Reading helps to express themselves better.
  7. When reading feed or wake up your neurons.
  8. When reading you stimulate the brain.
  9. When reading you entertain.

These are some examples of items that I have read in my free time:

Influence of surface energy parameters of dental self-adhesive resin cements on bond strength to dentin

Kim, Y. K., Son, J. S., Kim, K., & Kwon, T. (2013). Influence of surface energy parameters of dental self-adhesive resin cements on bond strength to dentin. Journal Of Adhesion Science & Technology, 27(16), 1778-1789. doi:10.1080/01694243.2012.761057

This article talks:

Dental self-adhesive resin cements (SRCs) have been developed in an attempt to
simplify the cementation procedure and thus to reduce application time and technique sensitivity. These materials incorporate some acidic methacrylate monomers to condition the tooth surface and to potentially induce chemical adhesion to hydroxyapatite. These materials are not generally indicated in the cementation of veneers due to their excessive enamel microleakage and lower dentin bond strengths compared with traditional resin luting cements.

The Effect of Light Exposure on Water Sorption and Solubility of Self-Adhesive Resin Cements

Rodrigues Aguiar, T., Bosso André, C., Boni Ambrosano, G. M., & Giannini, M. (2014). The Effect of Light Exposure on Water Sorption and Solubility of Self-Adhesive Resin Cements. ISRN Otolaryngology, 1-6. doi:10.1155/2014/610452

This article talks:

The development of self-adhesive resin cements changed the
clinical concept of adhesive cementation. These materials targeted to simplify the clinical procedures by eliminating critical steps such as the phosphoric acid etching and bonding application. The bonding mechanism of self-adhesive resin cements is based on the presence of acidic monomers, and neither resin tags nor conventional hybrid layers were observed in the adhesive interface. Interestingly, immediate and long-term dentin bonding studies demonstrated that the self-adhesive cements seem to be a good alternative for indirect restorations and fiber posts cementation.

I love my profesion !!!
